Dave Kellogg is an experienced enterprise software executive, angel investor, board member, advisor, thought leader, and blogger. Dave joined Host Analytics in 2012, and under his leadership the company has dramatically increased the size of its subscription base, raised more than $50M in venture capital, won numerous awards for its leading FP&A technology, introduced Modeling as a new major component of the product line, increased customer satisfaction, expanded its strategic partner network, and carved out the company’s position as leading scalable cloud-based EPM platform.

Prior to Host Analytics, Dave was SVP and General Manager of the Service Cloud at Salesforce.com, the company’s second-largest product line at the time. Before that, Dave was CEO of MarkLogic and grew the company from $0 in revenues to an $80M+ run-rate in six years. Previously, Dave was CMO at Business Objects during a nine-year phase as the company grew from 250 employees and $30M in revenues to over 4,500 employees and $1B in revenues. Dave started his career in technical and product marketing positions at Ingres and Versant.

Dave sits as an independent director on the boards of data catalog leader Alation, agtech innovator Granular, and content management disruptor Nuxeo.

Dave is the author of the highly regarded Kellblog where he covers topics ranging from startups, metrics, venture capital, and Silicon Valley to cloud, analytics, and big data technologies.

Dave has bachelor’s degrees in geophysics and applied mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and an MBA from Saint Mary’s College of California.

Ron Baden leads the sales team at Host Analytics as chief revenue officer, and is responsible for driving the integration and alignment between marketing, sales, and customer support. A seasoned veteran with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in the EPM space leading engineering, product management, sales, and professional services, Ron has vast knowledge and executive sales experience across multiple distribution channels at enterprise and SaaS companies, and has a proven track record for consistently driving market leading growth rates.

He possesses deep cloud DNA and has witnessed first-hand the increasing adoption of cloud-based EPM solutions, citing that, ‘The cloud has revolutionized the way we deliver complex software applications, and it is now the preferred software delivery model for organizations of all sizes.'

Previously, Ron led the Professional Services division at Host Analytics for seven years, where he managed the internal services, partner enablement, and data integration teams. Under his leadership as senior vice president of services, his team successfully deployed more than 500 customer implementations; was instrumental in signing the Dell Boomi partnership agreement; and delivered numerous large-scale EPM projects to customers with more than 3,000 users.

Prior to joining Host Analytics, Ron served as the CEO and president of RTC Consulting, a consulting firm, that specializes in implementing EPM solutions, where he led the company’s strategic direction and oversaw the support of the IBM Cognos and Microsoft product lines.

In 2006, Ron was vice president of services at Merador, a Cognos Platinum Partner, where he was responsible for defining the services and product strategy, and helping the company achieve Platinum status. He also spent time implementing the Hyperion product lines, as well as working for Comshare, a leader in the EPM space.

Ron holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Georgia Southwestern State University.

Ian Charles is a strategic CFO with nearly 25 years of executive leadership experience in public markets, mergers and acquisitions, and multinational operations, including supporting five companies through successful IPOs and five follow-on equity offerings.

A seasoned financial veteran with public and private company experience, he joined Host Analytics in 2014 as CFO responsible for all finance, accounting, reporting & analysis, strategic planning, corporate development and legal functions for the company. As CFO, Ian has purview and influence over the entire organization from a numbers point of view. He also plays a significant role in the sales cycles, often speaking with existing and prospective customers. As an avid user of Host Analytics, he is in a unique position to be the CFO of a company that uses its own product.

Having amassed more than two decades of experience in strategic corporate development, equity research, and financial modeling, Ian’s career path into the CFO’s seat was a natural step. He spent many years working in corporate development and as an analyst in banking, where he learned to understand the key revenue drivers of the business, opex investment, capital structure, customer growth and retention, cash flow, balance sheet strength — and how the financial metrics can be leveraged to identify strengths and weaknesses.

Prior to joining Host Analytics, Ian was the CEO of IMC Capital Partners, where he led many successful software investments, and advised technology startups in strategic development and financial analysis. Previously, he was CFO at RMG Networks, a digital media firm backed by Kleiner Perkins that grew rapidly and executed multiple acquisitions to establish a leadership position in digital out-of-home media.

In 2004, he co-founded REX & Co., where he served as CFO and was responsible for successfully spearheading the initial concept and business development of the company, including proof of concept testing, corporate financial modeling, collateral analysis, and product development.

Ian was also a senior vice president of corporate development for UNX; vice president and equity research analyst for SG Cowen; and director of corporate development for AOL Time Warner, where he led new acquisitions and strategic partnerships for the FORTUNE Group.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Colorado and a Master of Business Administration in Finance from the University of San Francisco, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with Beta Gamma Sigma honors. Ian comes to Host Analytics via The Brenner Group, where he serves as CFO partner for the technology community, and advises leading finance and accounting services startups, including Skava and Joyent.

Christelle Flahaux is a seasoned professional drawing on more than 17 years of experience in customer and field marketing, including senior leadership roles at some of the tech industry’s most recognized and fastest-growing B2B companies.

Her experience expands across all areas of marketing, including marketing operations, forecasting, market analysis, and lead generation. Sales and marketing alignment for enterprise software teams is Christelle’s particular area of passion and expertise in leading cross functional teams to drive conversions beyond inquiry creation to pipeline and revenue.

She joined Host Analytics in 2017 and serves as chief marketing officer, where she is chartered with driving the overall go-to-market strategy for the company—working collaboratively with regional teams to develop creative sales and marketing programs that increase sales, value and differentiation across markets.

Prior to Host Analytics, Christelle was the vice president of customer field marketing at Domo where she built a global field marketing organization to support the growing enterprise sales team and ushered in a new age of customer advocacy and customer lifecycle management.

A highlight of her career is her time with Ariba, first in field marketing then running demand generation globally, where she tapped into early iterations of ExactTarget’s email marketing platform and Omniture’s web analytics software. From there, Christelle went into the human capital management space with Taleo, then worked for Marketo developing their early outbound efforts, now called Account Based Marketing, before switching to Jive Software, overseeing field and international marketing as well as demand generation.

While at big data software company MapR Technologies, she ran demand generation, field marketing, marketing operations; and created the MapR (Converge) Community where Hadoop developers can learn, communicate and collaborate on projects.

Christelle earned a master's degree in sports marketing from the University of Memphis and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Marquette University.

Martin Cooke is the chief people officer at Host Analytics, where he leads all initiatives for recruiting, retaining, and developing the best talent in EPM, as well as driving leadership and organizational development. A 25-year industry veteran, Martin has extensive experience initiating and delivering innovative development and cultural programs for venture capital-backed start-ups as well as some of the world’s most recognized enterprise software companies including Microsoft, Salesforce, and Business Objects.

Since joining Host Analytics in 2014, Martin has played a key role in elevating the company’s overall performance by leading the organizational strategy, promoting operational effectiveness, and elevating team performance through innovative leadership. Prior to Host Analytics, Martin was responsible for driving the growth efforts of database provider MongoDB. As vice president of human relations and talent at MongoDB, he was responsible for building the culture which supported the company's early-stage hyper-growth. Under his tenure, MongoDB was voted the 14th best place to work in the world. Prior to MongoDB, he drove learning and development for Business Objects before taking his experience to advise and guide other start-ups throughout the USA, APAC, and EMEA on leadership and organizational development.

Sanjay Vyas is an accomplished technologist with a successful track record for building engineering teams that deliver scalable systems and platforms. He joined Host Analytics in 2015 and under his leadership, the company’s engineering team has nearly doubled in size with a top-notch management team. Sanjay has been instrumental in adopting agile software development methodologies, and establishing best practices across the breadth of software development efforts. He also played an integral role in boosting automation coverage and increasing product scalability 20-fold, while rolling out breakthrough features for the company’s cloud-based EPM solutions.

Prior to Host Analytics, Sanjay was vice president of product management at CA Technologies, where he led the development efforts of a platform that harvested insights from unstructured data using Big Data and Data Science. Before that, as vice president of software engineering at CA Technologies, he was responsible for overseeing all SaaS delivery encompassing 15 enterprise application products, 13 data centers, and a team of 250 engineers. With his strong technical background in developing, deploying and supporting multi-tenant SaaS applications, Sanjay helped the company re-architect its portfolio of on-premise applications to enable them for cloud deployment.

Previously, he was vice president and general manager of SaaS at Arcot Systems Inc. for ten years; and during his tenure, the company grew to become one of the leading providers of cloud-based, authentication and digital signing solutions for 13,000 banks and financial institutions with more than 100 million cardholders enrolled. Arcot Systems was acquired by CA Technologies in 2010.

Sanjay has a B. Tech in Metallurgical Engineering from IIT Bombay and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. He holds multiple patents in payment authentication and analytics of unstructured data; and is the co-author of a book, “The Cloud Security Rules: Technology is your friend. And enemy. A book about ruling the cloud”, which explains the different aspects of cloud security to business leaders, CxO's, IT managers, and decision makers.

Mark Sando is an accomplished enterprise software professional that leads our Customer Success team, where he focuses on the ongoing success and satisfaction of all Host Analytics customers. Under his leadership, the team is responsible for ensuring customers achieve long-lasting business value from their initial onboarding through ongoing renewals.

Previously, Mark led a regional Professional Services team at Host Analytics for two years delivering hundreds of successful implementations. His focus on strategic solutions helped customers optimize their business processes and improve timeliness and accuracy of their financial and operational data.

Mark has over 20 years of industry and consulting experience advising hundreds of companies on the optimal use of their performance management software, business processes, and best practice integration to ensure delivery of world class financial process solutions. He’s helped customers like Boeing, Agilent, Fitbit, Amazon, and Ingram Micro receive maximum return on IT investments.

He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from University of Florida Warrington College of Business.

Jon Kamelhar leads the Professional Services and Customer Training teams at Host Analytics. He is a highly effective and creative consulting practice manager with substantial experience managing complex customer and partner relationships. An expert in the development of structured methodology throughout the project life cycle, Jon ensures successful results for our customers.

Jon has led successful implementation projects in multiple verticals to small, medium and large sized businesses in media, entertainment, logistics, retail, manufacturing, higher ed, aerospace and financial services. He has in excess of 20 years of experience delivering EPM solutions.

In 2015, Jon was hired as a regional manager in Professional Services, responsible for customer implementations and a regional consulting staff at Host Analytics.

Prior to joining Host, Jon was Vice President of Professional Services at Longview Solutions, an EPM solution provider based in Ontario, Canada, where he held a number of leadership positions in their Professional Services organization. He was promoted to run their North American consulting group in 2008.

Jon holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Albany.

Eash Iyer leads the Data Integrations services teams at Host Analytics. Over the past two years, he has managed highly efficient teams that are focused on the ongoing success and satisfaction of Host Analytics customers. He has spearheaded the technology aspects of strategic relationships with Workiva, Sage and Prevedere.

Eash has extensive experience in business strategy and operations, building distributed teams, managing and delivering large scale, enterprise wide applications in Fortune 500 companies.

He has over 20 years of experience in IT and Business Management. Eash has held management roles in a variety of consulting firms and has successfully run a product and consulting company that has served some of the largest enterprises in the Bay Area. He has played pivotal roles in strategic MDM, BI, and Big-Data programs at companies such as Cisco, NetApp, VMware, and Intuit.

Eash conceptualized and created a multi-tenant SaaS DW/Visualization product that had a successful launch at DEMO Fall 2013.

Eash earned a BS in Math and a MBA in General Management from Pune University, India.

Craig Willis is an established customer support professional who leads our Customer Support and Customer Training Teams, where he ensures that customers fulfill their potential with the Host Analytics platform.

Prior to working at Host, Craig amassed 20 years of customer service experience in his home country of the United Kingdom working for several major UK and global companies including TLT LLP, Sainsbury’s, and Axa Sun Life.

Craig has been at Host Analytics since 2007 taking roles in Technical Operations, Training and Support. His experience and knowledge of the company have established unique insights across the organization which enable him to play a pivotal role on behalf of the customer with the engineering and product teams at Host.

During his time at Host Analytics, Craig has been instrumental in building teams that provide the wide range of skills that customer support and training teams need to build content with a focus on customer success.

Steve joined ATV in 1996 and focuses on investments in the software, infrastructure and internet services markets in the firm's Palo Alto, CA office. He is an active board member of EndPlay, Cenzic, Cedexis, Host Analytics, Modria, QuickPay, and WildTangent. Prior investments include Qumu (acquired by Rimage), Tripwire (acquired by Thoma Bravo), UpShot (acquired by Siebel Systems), Striva (acquired by Informatica NASDAQ: INFA), ViryaNet (NASDAQ: VRYA), Velogic (acquired by Keynote NASDAQ: KEYN), Seeker Software (acquired by Concur NASDAQ: CNQR), Epigram (acquired by Broadcom NASDAQ: BRCM), and Omneon Video Networks (acquired by Harmonic NASDAQ: HLIT). Steve has over 20 years of entrepreneurial, operating and venture experience. He founded and served as CEO of Worldview Systems, a successful venture-backed startup. Through a joint venture with Sabre Interactive, Worldview Systems created and launched Travelocity.com, the award-winning travel site. Steve also held executive positions in sales, marketing and general management with Covalent Systems, a venture-backed computer systems vendor focused on the graphic arts industry. His career originated in Booz, Allen & Hamilton’s San Francisco and London offices, where he focused on strategy engagements for a variety of technology companies in the U.S. and Europe. Steve holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Harvard College.

Prior to founding Sunstone Partners, Mike was a Managing Director of Trident Capital, which he joined in 2005.

Mike currently serves as a board director of NetSPI and Host Analytics, and is a board observer at AlienVault and HyTrust. Mike is a former board director or observer of Arxan Technologies (acquired by TA Associates), BlueCat (acquired by Madison Dearborn), Fruition Partners (acquired by CSC), Prolexic (acquired by Akamai), Solera Networks (acquired by Blue Coat), Tablus (acquired by EMC) and Voltage Security (acquired by HP).

Mike began his investing career in 2001 with a New York based private equity firm specializing in technology and services investments. Earlier in his career, Michael worked in the technology investment banking group at Merrill Lynch.

An east coast native, Michael earned a B.S. and Master of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.

Ms Farrington is a co-founder and managing partner of StarVest Partners, L.P., a New York City based venture capital firm that invests in software, data & analytics and business services. Founded in 1998, StarVest has invested in many leading software-as-a-service and internet marketing companies, including NetSuite (NYSE: N), where Ms Farrington was lead director and chairman of the Compensation Committee until its sale in November 2016 to Oracle for $9.3 billon, Veracode sold to CA Technologies, Fieldglass sold to Madison Dearborn and then to SAP for $1 billion, iCrossing sold to Hearst, MessageOne sold to Dell, Insurance.com sold to QuinStreet and Iron Solutions sold to Trimble. Ms. Farrington has over 30 years of private equity and venture investing, finance and operating experience. Prior to founding StarVest, Ms. Farrington held positions including: President and CEO of Victory Ventures, LLC, a New York-based private equity investment firm where she also served as chairman of Staffing Resources, Inc.; and Managing Director of Asian Oceanic Group, a Hong Kong-based merchant bank.

Earlier in her career she held management positions spanning international and domestic investment banking and securities analysis with Merrill Lynch & Co. based in New York, Hong Kong and Tokyo, and was an officer with The Chase Manhattan Bank. On behalf of StarVest, Ms. Farrington currently sits on the Boards of CrowdTwist, Snag-a-Job, Take the Interview and Xignite. She is also a director and chairman of the Compensation Committee of Collectors Universe, Inc. (NASDAQ: CLCT). She has been named multiple times to the Forbes Midas 100 List of top venture capitalists in the United States. She is a graduate of Smith College, where she is a Trustee, and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she is a member of the Dean’s Visiting Committee.

Craig Hanson is a VC investor and builder of over 20 companies working between the US and Europe. As General Partner and Co-Founder of Next World Capital, Craig works closely with management teams to grow their companies from early stage to global expansion. He currently sits on the boards of Zuora, Host Analytics, GoodData, and Aviso. Prior to co-founding NextWorld, Craig was a Vice President with FTV Capital, an expansion-stage venture capital firm with $1 billion under management investing in enterprise software companies worldwide. He was also a Principal at Vista Ventures, a technology venture capital firm, and a Vice President at Berenson Minella & Company, where he worked on large growth capital and buyout investments, as well as completed several acquisitions and financings, through the firm’s private equity and investment banking operations. He has also been the CFO of a venture-backed technology company, and began his career as an investment banker with Credit Suisse First Boston.

Ned Hooper is a Founding Partner of Centerview Capital Technology and currently serves as its Managing Partner. He invests in companies that can drive productivity and competitiveness for their Enterprise and Service Provider customers. Ned currently serves on the Boards of Quantenna (Nasdaq: QTNA), Host Analytics, Infoworks and as a Board Observer for Acquia and RichRelevance. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees for the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Ned brings over 20 years of operational and investment experience, leading growth technology businesses from the C-Suite and managing venture and growth capital investments. He has successfully driven business expansion across a broad range of technology sectors including networking, collaboration, enterprise software, and service provider platforms.

Prior to Centerview Capital, Ned was Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer at Cisco. He drove the development of Cisco’s business vision and strategy to identify market transitions across customer segments and developed integrated strategies that leveraged all Cisco assets. He was a member of the Operating Committee and partnered closely with the Chief Operating Officer to tie strategy to operational excellence and to institutionalize a strategy discipline throughout the company. As part of this role, he was responsible for business development activities including acquisitions, equity investments, and the incubation of innovative technologies. Ned led over seventy-five acquisitions that played a key role in driving Cisco’s growth strategy. Under his leadership, Cisco broadly expanded its global private investment strategy with a portfolio of investments spanning early stage technology innovation to mature go-to-market partners, resulting in strong strategic and financial returns.

Prior to joining Cisco, Ned was responsible for building and implementing a global distribution strategy for Lightspeed International, a start-up acquired by Cisco. He began his career in technology with MCI in Product Management.

Jonathan Temple is an Operating Partner with The Riverside Company, a global private equity firm focused on making investments in growing businesses valued at up to $400 million. Prior to joining The Riverside Company, Jonathan was President and CEO of HEAT Software where he successfully orchestrated the sale of the business to Clearlake Capital. Jonathan has more than 25 years’ experience as a CEO and operating executive in the software industry with an impressive track record of leading and accelerating the growth of public, venture-backed and PE owned software organizations.

Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK and currently serves as an independent director on the boards of Host Analytics, Metric Insights, Monetate and FirstFuel Software.”
