“Host Analytics is able to provide users with a number of pre-packaged capabilities that Nucleus finds drives an accelerated time to value,” said Anne Moxie, research Analyst at Nucleus Research. “Moving forward, Nucleus expects that Host Analytics will continue to invest in its user interface to allow for easy access to its solution for the business user, as well as additional operational planning solutions, driving productivity improvements throughout an organization. As a cloud-based solution, it will be able to maintain a strong position in the market with a quick upgrade cycle.”
The report recognized Host Analytics for its recent launch of Modeling Cloud, a new module in Host Analytics Cloud EPM Suite designed to serve business users wherever they work – in Excel spreadsheets or via a web browser or mobile device with a patent-pending “write once, run anywhere” architecture. Nucleus calls out Modeling Cloud’s ability to provide self-service interactive query and analysis, advanced modeling functionality and Excel based reporting as key differentiators for customers.
Nucleus also highlighted Host Analytics’ introduction of an industry-first technology that enables bi-directional interoperability between the company’s cloud-based EPM suite and Oracle Hyperion, as proof point to the company’s leadership in the space. According to Nucleus, “This feature is key for customers that are still using Oracle Hyperion but want access to a lighter and more flexible cloud-based solution for divisions and departments.”
“We are extremely pleased with our position as leader in the Nucleus Research 2015 Technology Value Matrix for CPM,” said Lance Walter, CMO at Host Analytics. “The cloud EPM market is growing rapidly and Host Analytics is the fastest-growing company in the space due to our focus on customers and creating strong and immediate ROI.”
