Host Analytics Raises $25 Million to Extend Leadership In Cloud-Based Enterprise Performance Management

Redwood City, CA – November 24, 2014 –

Host Analytics, the leader in cloud-based enterprise performance management (EPM), today announced it has completed a financing round of $25 million led by Centerview Capital Technology with participation from existing investors Advanced Technology Ventures, Next World Capital, StarVest Partners, and Trident Capital. Ned Hooper, Founding Partner of Centerview Capital Technology, will join the company’s Board of Directors.

The proceeds will be used to reinforce the company’s success as the fastest-growing vendor in the cloud EPM market, fund continued organic growth in the United States, support new product initiatives in operational planning, and drive international expansion. This brings the total capital invested in the company to $77M across five rounds.

“We have an amazing opportunity, the upmarket position in cloud EPM, and are the fastest-growing company in the space,” said Dave Kellogg, CEO of Host Analytics. “We’re thrilled to be working with Centerview and to leverage their deep operational expertise as we continue the process of building an epic company.”

In its most recent quarter, the company closed nearly 200 new transactions in another quarter of record growth, including sales to both large enterprise customers and fast-growing start-ups. Many of these customers made the transition from legacy on-premises EPM systems or other cloud solutions that could not deliver the breadth and depth of Host Analytics Cloud EPM Suite.

The company has rapidly expanded its solution and feature set to keep pace with the growing needs of customers. Host Analytics recently launched its new Sales Planning solution focused on helping sales and finance leaders better align and collaborate. It also delivered feature integration with Box to streamline data processing and incorporate the security advantages of Box.

“At Centerview, we look for opportunities to invest in late-stage, high-growth companies with proven management teams and a clear vision,” said Ned Hooper of Centerview Capital Technology. “We were very excited to get the chance to lead this round and look forward to working with Dave and the team to build a market-defining company.”
